St. Louis -- The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will host a pavilion at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, February 19-21, 2019, as part of its participation in Design and Construction Week (DCW).
DCW will bring together more than 80,000 design and construction professionals in North America’s largest gathering of the residential design and construction industry. Members of the NWFA will enjoy discounted registration for the event, while the organization’s leaders will participate in the Design and Construction Week Executive Roundtable to discuss issues and trends in the North American housing market and exchange ideas with other industry thought leaders.
“It’s important for NWFA to expand its role with DCW for several reasons,” said Michael Martin, NWFA president and CEO. “The opportunity for members to showcase a variety of hardwood flooring products; a home base for NWFA members attending the events; a voice within the residential construction industry to ensure NWFA is a resource for builders, providing them with acclimation and product specification information so wood flooring continues to be the consumers choice for new homes and renovations.”
DCW’s founding partners, the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), coordinate their efforts by co-locating and running their industry shows, the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), concurrently.
“We have seen explosive growth in Design and Construction Week over the past few years, primarily due the draw of having so many big industry players all in one place,” said Jerry Howard, NAHB CEO. “The support of the NWFA only further bolsters the prominence of this event. DCW has become the premier event for our industry, and we expect the 2019 show to be the best year yet.”
