Chris Zizza, president of C&R Flooring and chairman of the National Wood Flooring Association’s executive committee, was recognized with a Gold Community Spirit Award in the 2018 Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston (BRAGB) PRISM Awards for his work with The Make a Difference Project.

Zizza founded The Make a Difference Project earlier this year as a way to bring attention to individuals and smaller charitable organizations in New England and beyond. The project highlights one organization per month, promoting their mission on social media, becoming involved in fundraising events and more. The Community Spirit Award is judged on the originality, concept and execution of a community outreach or charitable program.

“I believe it is my responsibility in life to use my success to help others,” said Zizza. “I don’t expect anything in return, but it is very humbling to receive this award.”
