Dallas, Texas -- The Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI) has partnered with Natural Fiber Installers Certification (NFIC) to bring the installation industry another level of certification within the woven carpet category, adding to the vast knowledge of carpet installation techniques that CFI provides. The NFIC brings an understanding of one of the most misunderstood products in the floor covering industry to add to CFI's library of knowledge.
Robert Varden, vice president of CFI and PJ Arthur, president of NFIC, have partnered in order to provide a woven certification designed to give installers a much heavier insight into the construction and techniques needed to work with these products.
“I have watched synthetics come and go, but woven and tufted wools have remained steadfast and have kept their integrity in the marketplace” said Arthur.
More about this new certification will be unveiled at CFI’s 26th Annual Convention and Expo. PJ Arthur will be conducting a Hand Sewing seminar on Wednesday August 21, 4–5 p.m.
“This seminar is one you do not see often anymore, and I do not know of a better instructor than PJ to show when It comes to hand sewing technique, you will not want to miss this one” said Varden.
