NFA Moves 2020 Meeting to 2021
The National Floorcovering Alliance announced that it is not safe to host their meeting this Spring. The NFA Spring 2020 meeting in Cabo will be moved to October 3-7, 2021.
The board has worked out the best end-result for all vendor partners and members during this havoc of COVID-19. Vendors will arrive Monday, October 4, 2021 and depart on Thursday, October 7, 2021. The NFA says they are confident a cure for this virus will be solved by that time.
The NFA says they understand it is a large take to properly mobilize teams in support of the NFA and thank everyone for their patience while they work out the details for the Cabo meeting.
On April 2 and 3, the NFA learned from each of their 43 members the degree COVID-19 has/is impacting their ability to conduct retail sales and installations. The NFA says they have members that have been closed for 4 weeks now and yet other members with little impact to date. Some have furloughed their retail roster, now staffing skeletal teams, while others rely on new construction and commercial to keep production up.
The NFA wants to thank their vendor partners for their continued support the past three weeks in creative ways aiding NFA retailers during this disheartening time.
