We’ve heard enough negative news for the last couple of months, so let’s get on a positive note.
Many are still dealing with stay-at-home orders, so why not make the most of getting prepared for the time when you’ll be able to get back to work by reading some positive books?
There are a multitude of books that can be recommended, but here are just a few that are in my library. As I was looking through some of the books I have, I happened to pull a book titled Pink Bat by Michael McMillan. This one seems a fitting read for these times that we’re dealing with. Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life by Les Brown is also an encouraging, quick read.
Two very close friends of mine that have both been involved in the flooring industry have written books on customer service, and I highly recommend these books since customer service is an important element of the work we all do: Lisbeth Calandrino’s Red Hot Customer Service! and Heart and Mind Selling by Sam Allman.
As we prepare to move forward and all that will come with that, books like Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson and Stuff That Really Matters by Andy Hickman, can provide a bit of inspiration.
So, there you have it, a few good reads that all have a positive message and can help you in your personal and business life.
