When it comes to flooring maintenance, the age-old question remains: whose responsibility is it? Is it up to the manufacturer, the contractor, the installer or the end-user? We had our resident industry expert, editorial director Jon Namba, share his thoughts on why flooring maintenance should be discussed during purchase or specification, especially as categories continue to grow and we continue to see several products on the market that are not good products to use on floors. “It’s a learning curve when you traditionally use certain types of products, and then you change the flooring.
