Roppe’s Rubber Stair Treads with DuPont Kevlar fibers is a long-lasting, high-performing tread. Engineered to resist damage from wear and abuse, the treads incorporate DuPont Kevlar, an innovative, lightweight material that is also found in ballistic body armor and delivers durability and reliability.

Available in eight profiles and 134 color options, the treads are 100% recyclable and conform to industry safety, sustainability and performance standards. Safety abrasive strips or rubber inserts and custom strips also can be added for extra traction or to aid the visually impaired.

“The durability of stair treads is constantly being tested,” said Bart Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing for Roppe Holding. “We set out to create a vulcanized rubber stair tread that would last longer, perform better and bring higher value. By incorporating Kevlar fibers, Roppe Rubber Stair Treads with Kevlar will look and perform like new not just for a few years, but for decades.”
