2022 was a jam-packed year for the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) as the organization got its Basic Flooring Installation pilot program off the ground at the Georgia Northwestern T College in Dalton, Georgia in January. Over the course of the year, the FCEF team has traveled across the country attending events to spread awareness of the flooring industry as a career option and working to get their program placed in as many education facilities as possible. Their efforts have paid off with the non-credit 10-week program achieving accreditation status in March 2022. Additionally, it has expanded to a 15-week program, creating two options for those interested in hosting the training in their education facilities. Here is a glimpse of their accomplishments throughout the year.
