Tuesday, March 28 at 1:00pm CDT, the National Tile Contractors Association and Ardex will host the free webinar "Grouts: The Tattletales of Tile Installations." William White, field marketing specialist, Ardex, will lead the presentation. 

Topic description: Besides the tile itself, grout is the signature and most visible part of a tile and stone installation. Therefore, most complaints are grout complaints. Color is not right, joints crack, grout gets dirty, and the list goes on. There are many variables that can cause complaints from poor substrate preparation, the cleaning of the grout, the type of tile, and the environment where the tile is installed. This webinar will cover the various types of grouts available today and their benefits. It will also focus on ways to help you avoid grout complaints and call backs.

White is an industry veteran of 30 years. Working in tile and stone installation as well as slab stone fabrication and installation, he started his career with Ardex over 10 years ago and has held several different positions throughout his tenure with Ardex. He is a committee member and an NCCER certified instructor for the Columbia Tile Trades Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC). William passed his Certified Tile Installation certification in 2015 and supports the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) as a State Ambassador since 2017. Additionally, William has contributed on the ANSI sub-committee for updating ANSI 108.10 Section 5 standards.
