With some homeowners and designers opting for thin, minimalist trims to replace the need for bullnose tile and treat their raw tile edges on walls, shower niches, backsplashes and more, Schluter-Systems introduces a redesign of one of its most popular profiles: Schluter Jolly.

Schluter-Systems products are specifically designed for the tile industry to ensure that installations maintain integrity and durability. The company’s product line includes over 6,000 items, including tile trims, uncoupling membranes, waterproof building panels, shower systems, and thin-set mortar. Schluter-Systems is renowned for its state-of-the-art technology with attention to detail for highly functional and visually appealing results.

Jolly, a classic profile for walls, has been reinvented with a new design that features a 90-degree angle, as well as matching corners and accessories. The 90-degree angle creates a clean, flush look on wall corners while protecting tile edges from damage. Jolly features integrated joint spacers on both sides of the profile to ensure consistent and symmetrical grout joints.

New corner pieces eliminate the need for miter cuts and sharp edges and feature an innovative plug-in connection for precise alignment. Connectors are also available for the perfect alignment of adjoining profiles.

Jolly is available in a large variety of materials, finishes, and colors. It now also comes in stainless steel. Both 8-foot and 10-foot profile lengths are available. Schluter profiles are identifiable by their trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg, which is secured in the mortar bond coat beneath the tile during installation. The wide range of available sizes and finishes match a variety of tile and grout colors.
