CTW Abbey Carpet & Floor and Wisco Cabinets are hosting the first annual Floor Fitter Expo in McFarland, Wisconsin on May 12. This event is free and will run from 11am to 6pm. 

A number of demonstrations will take place. Schluter Systems will showcase its waterproof shower system. Shaw Floors will be installing LVP on stairs. Mapei will cover moisture solutions and self-leveling. The Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) association to teach what inspectors look for on installs and moisture testing. There will be carpet seaming and LVP replacement demonstrations. 

“We planned this for all the floor fitters and installers in our area,” said Joe Burkeland Jr., owner, CTW Abbey Carpet & Floor. “I'm not sure if this has ever been tried, but we are trying to figure out ways to make our fitters better at their craft and provide them with the opportunity to learn from and speak with other fitters as well as manufacturer reps. We hope this goes well, so we can build on it each year.”
