Evaluate Moisture with the Ligno-Scanner
For fast evaluation of moisture conditions of walls, ceilings and floors, the Ligno-Scanner can be moved quickly over the surface and indicates if there are elevated moisture conditions present. The meter also has calibrations to measure wood accurately in percent and relative scales for concrete, drywall and other moisture sensitive building materials.
SikaTile 100 Moisture Guard
SikaTile’s 100 Moisture Guard is a single component, fast-drying, thin-mil, load-bearing waterproofing, and crack isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in both residential and commercial environments. With elongation, adhesion, and high strength properties, 100 Moisture Guard provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms and floors below from water damage, and isolates cracks up to 1/8”.
Wider Kerdi Membrane Available in Two Lengths
The wider roll of Schluter-Kerdi waterproof membrane is now available in two different lengths. The 6’ 7” -wide rolls come in lengths of 49’ 2.5” (323 sq. ft.) and 98’ 5” (646 sq. ft.) so installers can choose the length that best suits the job. The wide rolls can be used to cover the wall area from a shower floor to standard shower head height so the walls can be made waterproof with a single piece of Kerdi membrane, meaning fewer seams and faster installation.
